Our Journey & Mission
Founded in 2021 in Duhok, Kurdistan Region, VeePay began as a dedicated technology company building high-performance enterprise applications, mobile platforms, and ERP management systems for Iraqi enterprises across retail, distribution, and services.
As we deployed business software across the country, we ran into a massive industry bottleneck: Iraqi payment rails were deeply fragmented. Every digital wallet and card switch required separate merchant agreements, incompatible APIs, and isolated bank settlements. To solve this, we engineered an internal multi-rail routing engine that connected every Iraqi payment network through a single interface.
Recognizing how vital this infrastructure is for Iraq's growing digital economy, we opened VeePay to all merchants, e-commerce founders, and developers. Today, VeePay operates as an advanced technical payment orchestration platform—allowing businesses to integrate once and connect directly to ZainCash, FIB, FastPay, QiCard, AsiaPay, and Visa/Mastercard without managing separate technical connections or holding funds.
